EME

On the night before He died, Christ gathered His Apostles to celebrate the Last Supper, and to give us the inestimable gift of His Body and Blood. This is the core of our Catholic Faith.

Extraordinary Ministers assist the priest in the distribution of the Eucharist when the size of the congregation requires it.

Candidates for the ministry must be Catholic, a member of the parish in good standing, and will be trained prior to becoming an EME in preparation to fulfill their role with knowledge and reverence. Upon completion of this training they will be commissioned by the priest as a member of the EMEs. All EMEs know that their service is not a right, but a privilege.

Meetings for updates and are as needed for special Masses, most updates are sent via email. Training is arranged per individual or group as needed.
